About the Role

This role as an Internal Auditor in Faysal Bank is an opportunity to be at the forefront of the bank's risk management initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the bank's internal audit operations, driving risk-based audits, identifying control deficiencies, and recommending improvements. This position requires a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented professional who will contribute to strengthening the bank's governance and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive risk-based internal audits, ensuring that the bank's operations meet set standards and regulations.
  • Identify control deficiencies in the bank's operations and recommend effective improvements to enhance risk management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all operational segments of the bank, actively identifying areas that require attention.
  • Validate operational effectiveness, ensuring that the bank's operations are running as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Perform observation tracking, validation, and follow-ups, ensuring that all identified issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Internal Audit, preferably within the banking or financial sector.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, ensuring a strong theoretical foundation in financial management and auditing.
  • Professional certifications such as CA (Inter), ACCA, or CIA are highly preferred, demonstrating a thorough understanding of auditing principles and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, essential for identifying control deficiencies and recommending improvements.
  • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to drive risk-based audits and contribute to the strengthening of the bank's governance and compliance frameworks.
