Job Description

About the Role

As an integral member of United Bank Limited (UBL), the Branch Manager will take charge of overseeing the overall operations, sales, and service quality of the branch. This leader is expected to demonstrate a customer-centric approach, ensuring that the branch delivers outstanding service while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating a productive and harmonious working environment, driving business growth, and upholding the bank's ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the efficient operation of the branch, ensuring compliance with all banking laws and regulations.
  • Leverage strong business acumen to develop and implement strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer complaints promptly and implementing service quality improvements as needed.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve business objectives and promote a positive work environment.
  • Participate in community events to enhance the bank’s image and foster business development opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage operational risks within the branch, taking corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the banking sector, including direct branch management.
  • Strong understanding of banking laws, regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with an ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated business development acumen, with a track record of driving branch growth and profitability.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to maintaining high service quality standards.
  • Strong ethical stance, with a commitment to upholding the bank's standards and reputation.
