Assistant Manager Supply Chain

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager in the Supply Chain department, you will play a critical role in overseeing the organization's supply chain operations. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. You will also work on enhancing our operations in a way that promotes efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement all supply chain operations, including logistics activities, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of our products.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on the efficiency of the supply chain.
• Manage and support a team of supply chain coordinators, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and working effectively.
• Establish and maintain strong, effective relationships with vendors and distributors.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
• Prior experience in a supply chain management role is essential.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software systems and platforms.
