About the Role

As a Senior Officer – Chargeback & Dispute Resolution (OG-II), you will be an integral part of our financial team, responsible for handling customer disputes and chargebacks. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who is adept at investigating, resolving, and preventing disputes in accordance with industry standards and regulations. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company's reputation for excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes and chargebacks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, merchants, and card networks to gather necessary information for dispute resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies related to chargebacks and dispute resolution.
  • Identify trends and patterns in disputes and chargebacks to develop strategies for reduction.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on dispute resolution activities and outcomes to management.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and procedures related to dispute resolution.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in dispute resolution and chargeback management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in the financial industry is essential.
  • Strong understanding of chargeback processes, rules, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
